January 30, 2011 - new york concerts & food

hello friends!

greetings from new york.  i’m here for a couple months. in january i was subletting a place called “TOTAL EXISTENCE.” my lease there ran out and now I’m staying at a little flat in the west village called ‘RAPID ARTICULATION AND SENSE CLARITY.’ pat martino bought it in the 70s but he’s considering selling it to me. it’s a “buyer’s market” for rapid articulation these days, and stock in sense clarity is only slightly higher.
we’re having a busy start to 2011 so far.  towards the beginning of the month i joined Wounded Animal Solutions, a new consulting firm. We’ve just taken on our first few clients. Please contact us if you are interested in one of our services - assuming that, in fact, you are a wounded animal.  It’s that time of year anyway…

Hurrah, Sam’s back in London!!!

Saw your gig in Dalston before Christmas and genuinely thought they were was the most preciously captivating musical minutes I’ve experienced in ages.. and then you left, and it snowed. The two are not linked. This time I’m taking all of the friends that I’ve bored with pathetic attempts at regaling how great it was since you left. Shame you’re only supporting.
Am I done? No you are.
Hurrah. Your Absolute Fan!

Fantastic gig at Laura Veirs.  Can’t get “How Come That Blood” out of my head.  Bravo!
